I remember being so full of hopes and dreams at my own wedding. So much I wanted to do- to accomplish. My hopes and dreams filled the whole world. What happened to me?
You've already accomplished a lot, more than many people your age, and what's more is that you possess a maturity and understanding that comes with life's hard knocks. You're received quite a fair share of cruel negative answers in life, which can toughen anyone up and destroy the youthful spark! I feel the same way about myself, and have often contemplated it. I wonder if I like the "cynical, maturer me" or the "youthful hopeful me" better. I guess there are pros and cons to both. Love you just the way you are! :)
